Custom Orders
Have you got a fabric you love, a favourite print, a remnant you've been hoarding, the last of something discontinued - we'll turn it into a lampshade that's yours and no one else's. We make most of our shapes to order in sizes beyond the standard range, and we're glad to work from fabric you supply.
How it works
- Email us with what you have in mind - rough size, the shape you fancy, and the fabric. A photo's perfect.
- We'll be straight with you about whether it'll work and what it'll cost, before you commit to anything.
- We make it by hand in the Scottish Borders and send it your way.
A word on fabric. Not everything makes a good shade - heavy upholstery weights, for instance, won't let the light through. If you're not sure, send a photo and we'll give you an honest answer rather than a hopeful one.
Cost depends on size, fabric and trimmings, so we quote each shade individually - no surprises.
Local and after a bit of inspiration? Clothworks on Woodmarket in Kelso stocks a lovely range and can usually cut from a single metre.
